Hooray it's Spring!
This weekend the weather was just beautiful -- bright and sunny and the kind of temperatures I wish Seattle could offer the year round. Sunday Hyejin and I went on a little road trip to Mt Vernon for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Post- Windows Live map and some dodgy GPS directions, we eventually managed to find where the action was -- namely the Roozengaarde and the rather aptly named Tulip Town.
We both took our "nice" cameras, although I reckon in the end the results from my Panasonic digital super-zoom (Lumix FZ-7 in case you're interested) simply paled in comparison to Hyejin's Nikon D80 (photographer ability notwithstanding of course!!!). Although at Tulip Town in particular, it was pretty hard not to get a stunning shot.
