Apparently there's this guy who makes super-industrial-strength blenders, and the shtick he uses to promote it is to make videos of him blending everyday objects the outcome of which is inevitably a pile of particles. His latest victim is the iPhone. Apple-haters rejoice:
Amid all the hoopla around Spiderman 3, it's worth remembering that it was the Japanese who perfected Spiderman's transition from comic book to the silver screen. Check out this vid on YouTube of Toei Spider Man, a TV series from the 1970's. A prize* for who can spot the most superhero references (Asian Wonderwoman anyone?)! Note: this is not a spoof.

PS, here's my mini-review of the real Spiderman 3 in 25 words or less: a safely formulaic but nevertheless entertaining adventure; special effects galore will be a hit with the kids; some room for improvement via more judicious editing.
